Donald Trump Does NOT Have to Be President: State Electors Can Save The Country on 12/19
The Issue
The rise of Donald Trump is one of the most horrific, nightmarish events in our country's history. The media and and even some of the politicians who opposed him have been normalizing him since the election, but he is ANYTHING but normal. He may have won this round, we can still stop him.
He is a serial sexual assaulter, a rabid racist, a pathological liar, and an profoundly stupid man who hates to prepare for anything. He doesn't read and has the attention span of a cocker spaniel. He is already creating a cabinet that will rival the Bush cabinet in terms of corruption, warmongering, profiteering and fraud. He will immediately cancel Obamacare for millions of sick people who need health insurance: without replacing it. He is a dangerous demagogue who wants to deport 11 million human beings in the first 100 days of his presidency.
Within forty-eight hours of his election, vicious hate crimes have sprung up all over the country. This is just the beginning, unless we act now.

Even if you disagree with a President, the one thing he or she should be is intelligent -- but Trump is proud of his own ignorance. He has the syntax of a seven-year-old child and the temperament of an angry twelve-year-old boy who hasn't gotten his way. He doesn't understand Mutually Assured Destruction, or what's at stake in Syria, and he doesn't believe in Climate Change. He will eliminate reproductive rights and make abortion illegal. Having this volatile man near the nuclear suitcase puts us all at grave risk.
Trump has been accused of rape by more than one woman. He is also facing a lawsuit about Trump University. He has threatened to chip away at the First Amendment, which would further enshrine his power -- enabling him to steal elections in the future. He is a conman, a narcissist, and a carnival barker. He is uniquely unqualified for the office. He is already destroying America's reputation around the world.
And let us not forget: he won this with the help of Vladimir Putin and Russian hackers, who wanted him to win, to make him their puppet. It's now confirmed that Moscow had contact with Trump's team during the campaign:
Many of us have been in shock and mourning the last few days, adjusting to this terrible new normal. But we don't have to! On December 19th, the State Electors will officially vote Donald Trump in, and until that day, although he is "President Elect" -- it is NOT a done deal. Per the constitution, the state electors are allowed to choose another candidate. This is because we the people do not directly decide who becomes president -- the electoral college does that. This move is unprecedented in American history -- but his disgusting, repulsive, sickening, dangerous campaign was just as unprecedented. For women, people of color, LGBT people, Jews, children, Muslims, Latinos, disabled people, and any person of conscience across the country, this is a full scale disaster of the most epic proportions. Let's reverse it, save our country, and prevent fascism from coming to America.
