With war/crisis in Ukraine and an international arms race already underway. We are on the brink of WORLD WAR THREE.

Just one diplomatic incident (like ArchDuke Franz Ferdinand repeating itself), could trigger a nuclear conflict on a global scale like nothing we’ve ever seen before. 

8.1 BILLION PEOPLE WILL BE AFFECTED.

THE END OF HUMAN CIVILISATION.

BUT...

Instead of waging WORLD WAR 3 against each other, what if the G20 came together to wage WARM WAR 3 against GLOBAL WARMING?

IDEA / BATTLE 1

What if nations repurposed BATTLE tanks to be WATER tanks to take on the world’s wild fires? Stick a hose through the cannon. Tanks on the back. Hey presto.

What if nations played WAR GAMES FOR GOOD?

What if we GAMIFIED WAR?

Whose tanks put out the fires fastest?

Whose planes can drop the best precision guided water-bombs?

Whose soldiers dig the best irrigation trenches?

 

IDEA / BATTLE 2

After we’ve won the battle 1 against the wildfires, we will reward ourselves with battle 2.

By putting put down real guns and picking up fun ones. Paintball guns. Now (in a delusionally positive dreamworld), we will play war across the rubble of real war.

Soldiers will paint the ex-towns red, white, blue and yellow. And in reverse order.

We mix the teams up. Russians will paintball with Ukrainians. Vice versa. They will BOND over this experience…hopefully.

There will be tears. There will be drunken brawls. People have lost people on both sides. It will be messy. But at least paintballs will fly and not bullets.

As humans we are VENGEFUL

But we have to forgive. We HAVE to forgive. We HAVE to FORGIVE TO SAVE THE WORLD, together

Once the paint-shelling stops we will have ART. Jackson Pollock style splatters across the rubble of war.

AKA A MEMORIAL.

FOR BOTH SIDES

FINALLY

That art will be visible FROM SPACE. Maybe one day ordinary people like you and me will be able to go up and look and down on it. If we work together that day could be sooner than you think.

That art will act as a reminder never to wage war on each other again, when our very existence as a species is under threat.  It will show the universe we listen.
