Landmark Legislation in Maryland

Maryland state legislators just passed uninamously first of its kind legislation to study health and safety issues related to early school start times. The committee is comprised of educators, mental health and sleep experts. Members of the executive board of Start School Later, who worked endlessly on this issue, will also serve on the committee. The study and its findings are due out in December 2014.
