As a proud vegan, it pains me to say the variety and amount of plant based meat options in stores is lacking. I speak on behalf of a massive community of vegan/vegetarians when I say that we are not fairly represented in the supermarket. I and many others want proper funding to make plant based meat a primary option in the supermarkets, not something that is off the side, unacknowledged. It is ridiculous to see shelves upon shelves of cut up carcasses, and a small shelf off to the side with a few boxes of a frozen meat alternative. We should have access to fresher, more obtainable plant based meat options. Please sign the petition if you agree that plant-based meat is ridiculously underfunded and under appreciated, and you want to see more. I believe that even meat eaters would agree that for such an environmentally friendly product, plant based meat products are just not there yet in supermarkets.
