We, the student body of Doyle High School, believe we should re-evaluate the return of football to our community. The potential advantages of an emergent football program outweigh the risks. We feel that it would strengthen a sense of community, bring in additional revenue, and draw potential residents to our town. 

 Doyle had a football program in 1980's, so the idea isn't foreign in the town. The average 3A high school can make 10% of the entire athletic department's annual budget in one rivalry football game. The profits can come from ticket sales, concessions, raffles, sponsorships, and increased merchandising. Along with the fact that our school already has a full time certified Sport's Medicine trainer, the risks are ever decreasing when it comes to injuries and lawsuit.

There are many options to offset or aid in initial start up costs. Crowdfunding, fundraising, and charities, such as TUFF and NFLFoundation.org, can help with raising capital.
