I am a regular and a loyal customer of Starbucks India. It is almost like my second home! For a person who goes to Starbucks on almost a day basis, sometimes I feel like taking my dog along, so that she can also smell the lovely coffee brewing.

Just last week, I walked into a Starbucks in Mumbai with my friend, along with my dog in my arms. The staff panicked and immediately asked me to step outside. I felt humiliated. While I stepped in to get a coffee, my friend waited outside with my dog, who was visibly restless. I was very disheartened to see a cafe, as big as Starbucks, not allowing pets.

With a lot of Starbucks outlets across the world being pet-friendly, I want Starbucks outlets in Mumbai to become pet-friendly as well. Being a leading brand for coffee in India, Starbucks would really help lead the way in making more cafes pet-friendly. Sign my petition!

While many smaller pet-friendly cafes across the city are coming up across Mumbai, Starbucks has a long way to go. As a loyalist, I would love to continue going to Starbucks, with my dog.
