One of the biggest epidemics facing Australians today is homelessness. For such a "Lucky Country" it is unbelievable that this is happening.  

In Australia, (last recorded ABS Census 2021), 122,494 people were experiencing homelessness.

One in seven people experiencing homelessness are children.

23 percent are children and young people aged 12-24.

One in 5 people are Aboriginal/Torres Straight Islander decent.

The majority of homelessness is hidden. There are people in crisis accommodation, rooming houses, insecure housing, overcrowded dwellings and couch surfing.

There has been a huge influx of people having to sleep in caravans, A lot more tents are popping up, people sleeping in their cars and on the streets.

Men, women, children, families, the disabled, employed, unemployed, pensioners and others from all walks of life, are left to suffer, sleeping in cars, tents or the streets.

On the 1st May there will be a rally in Adelaide at parliament house. Come along and stand with the homeless or start one up in your state capital!

We as a collective must fight and let our government know its not bloody good enough!
