We are heartbroken, outraged, and deeply concerned.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is one of the most trusted public health agencies in the world. Its work has saved countless lives through research, vaccination, emergency response, and clear science-based communication.

But under the direction of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., that mission is under attack.

Kennedy has fired 17 independent vaccine experts. He’s laid off thousands of CDC workers. He’s canceled meetings, silenced scientists, and left the agency without a confirmed director. Lifesaving programs are being dismantled. Decisions are being made by political appointees with no background in public health.

This is not reform. It’s destruction.

We stand with the doctors, researchers, and public servants, current and former, who are speaking out, even while grieving the loss of their colleagues and work.

We stand with the CDC, with science, and with the truth.

We call on President Trump and Congress to immediately remove Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services. The health of our country depends on it.

Science must be protected. The CDC must be restored.

Kennedy must resign.
