My mom had one kid already and felt like she couldn't take care of two. She was only 17 when she had my sister, and 19 when she had me. So she put me up for adoption. A lot of people feel like that when parents say "you're adopted", that is the worst news you could've ever heard in your entire life! But my parents have been telling me I was adopted from the moment I was born to the moment I turned 4 years old. A lot of people make enough fun of me for that and that alone. I love being adopted, hence one reason is that I feel I have the best family in the whole world. So. The kids at my elementary school make a lot of fun of me for that, and it needs to stop.

Another reason kids make fun of me is that my dads are gay. I have cried over and over. I have tried to prove that having gay dads just makes me special, but all the kids still make fun of me. My BFF also has dads that are gay! and I have come to love her more as family than a friend. Please support me in my goal to inspire people to love themselves just the way they are. <3
