The ongoing support for Ronan and the strife for his justice has been visibly growing in communities both local to the West Midlands, and Worldwide. People are waking up more and more to the problems that plague our societies, in particular; institutional corruption and youth gang violence.
Focusing on the removal of the corrupt committee members that were instrumental in supporting Ronan’s perpetrators, we have several updates to share with you all:
Sunday 6th August
Shingara Singh publicly announced from the stage in the Darbar Sahib at Guru Nanak Gurdwara Willenhall (GNGW) that he did not personally accept the 10 previously mentioned resignations that were submitted on Thursday 27th July. He informed listeners that there would be a committee meeting held on Saturday 19th August, and made a plea to all individuals who had submitted their resignations, to reconsider their decision and to attend the meeting for further discussion.
Monday 7th August
Justice Choudhury summoned Ronan’s perpetrators to Wolverhampton Crown Court to review the sentences originally placed on them. Sukhman Shergill was initially given life with a minimum of 16 years and Prabjeet Veadhesa was given life with a minimum of 18 years. After reconsidering the errors made in sentencing and the numerous public complaints received, the Judge arrived at the conclusion that the situation revolved around child-on-child crime and that the dealt sentencing should remain the same.
Wednesday 9th August
A letter was sent to Shingara Singh and Jaswinder Singh highlighting their lack of responses to the issues raised in writing and in person, regarding the misconduct at GNGW. It has been made clear to them that there is no need for them to accept the committee resignations submitted, because the Sangat have openly acknowledged and accepted them. They were given the opportunity to meet the Sangat on or before Saturday 12th August to address all concerns. They were also informed that if no response was received within the proposed time-frame, that the concerns would be addressed with the Sangat in the Darbar Sahib at GNGW on Sunday 13th August 2023.
Sunday 13th August
Resigned Stage Secretary Santokh Singh and un-resigned Stage Secretary Jaswinder Singh were present in the Darbar Sahib at GNGW, when a Gyani was ushered onto the mic to make all relevant stage announcements. This has demonstrated to the Sangat that the committee is in a dissolved state. There was no opportunity given to address the Sangat effectively on this day.
Within this last week, there has been a video production that has circulated around social media highlighting some very concerning accusations about serious and illegal activity that may have occurred at GNGW.
You can view the video here: https://youtu.be/YzccHAl6gWM
If you have any information or evidence supporting the accusations mentioned in the video, please email changeatgngw@gmail.com
If even one of the claims on the video is found to be true, this would uncover some serious illegal misconduct that is occurring at Guru Nanak Gurdwara Willenhall that would require some deep investigation.
If any individuals meet in relation to the management of GNGW on Saturday 19th August, they will be compelled to announce their meeting conclusions to the Sangat in the Darbar Sahib on Sunday 20th August after the 10:30am Ardas. The Sangat is encouraged to challenge their announcements on this day, and to make their voices be heard in regards to removing corrupt committee members and instating preferred ones.
