It has just been released that Justice Choudhury, who originally gave life sentences to Prabjeet Veadhesa (with a minimum of 18 years), and Sukhman Shergill (with a minimum of 16 years), will be resentencing them both this Monday 7th August 2023 at Wolverhampton Crown Court. This is due to error in the application of the sentencing laws and the receipt of numerous public complaints about the lack of fairness in the justice applied. There is a possibility of having both sentences reevaluated more accurately and extended.
