We implore you to take immediate steps towards de-escalation and a lasting peaceful resolution.

Our collective voice demands an end to:

• Deliberate attacks on civilians: Every life is precious, regardless of political affiliation or origin. Targeting civilians, whether through airstrikes, rocket attacks, or other means, is an egregious violation of human rights and must cease immediately.

• Indiscriminate acts of violence: Hamas's indiscriminate rocket fire and Israel's response targeting civilian infrastructure only fuel the cycle of violence and inflict needless suffering. Both sides must commit to using proportionate force and avoiding actions that endanger non-combatants.

• Collective punishment: Holding entire communities accountable for the actions of individuals is unjust and only exacerbates tensions. Leaders must respect the basic rights of civilians and avoid inflicting collective punishment.

• Denial of basic necessities: Access to water, sanitation, electricity, healthcare, and education is essential for human dignity and survival. Intentionally depriving civilians of these fundamental needs during a conflict constitutes a grave violation of international law.
Therefore, we call for:

• Immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.

• A sustained ceasefire to allow for the safe and unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to all affected areas.

• Independent investigations into alleged war crimes, rape, and violations of human rights, with accountability for those responsible.

• Commitment to meaningful dialogue and diplomacy aimed at resolving the underlying political and historical issues that perpetuate the conflict.
