🏛️🚨 Urgent Petition for the Compassionate Release of Nicolae Miu🏛️🚨

Nicolae Miu, an, elderly man suffering from severe medical conditions, is being denied proper care while incarcerated at Stanley Prison in Wisconsin.  Despite enduring multiple heart attacks, untreated PTSD, chronic back pain, and head injuries, he is not receiving the medical attention he desperately needs.

Justice for Nicolae Miu: Denied Medical Care & Trapped in a Broken System

Nicolae Miu is an innocent man suffering behind bars, where his basic medical needs are being ignored. His doctors prescribed a strict low-sodium diet rich in fruits and vegetables—yet the prison continues to serve him meals that directly contradict his medical requirements. Instead of the necessary nourishment, his food is excessively salty, with no fruits or vegetables in sight. This neglect is not just cruel—it’s life-threatening.  

Nicolae has faced injustice at every turn. In Romania, he was mistreated by authorities. On the river, he was harassed by violent bullies. Now, the prison system continues the cycle of abuse. In every case, Nicolae was never at fault, yet he has repeatedly paid the price for the failures of those around him.  

It's time to demand justice. No one deserves to suffer like this—especially an innocent man. Sign this petition today to hold the system accountable and ensure Nicolae receives the care and fairness he has long been denied.

At the time of his conviction, Nicolae was recovering from a quadruple heart bypass when he was brutally attacked and taunted by a group of intoxicated individuals.

Nicolae was minding his own business and helping his friend to find his lost phone when he was surrounded by 15-17 individuals alchol/drug induced underaged teens. He was shoved down into the water,  held under water, choked, hit, and slammed onto rocks of the river bed, causing permanent physical damage. 

Nicolae was defending himself against these large group of drunk bullies. 📢 yet his attackers faced no accountability for tormenting, taunting,  harassing and attacking Mr. Miu!📢AND NEITHER WERE the parents of the UNDERAGED teens held responsible and accountable for allowing their children to consume alcohol and drugs that day.

Nicolae was surrounded by a mob of intoxicated individuals, preventing him from returning to his group. They deliberately forced him farther away, isolating him before launching their attack—laughing, taunting, and chanting "For the culture" while hurling racial slurs.  

📢 **The video evidence is undeniable—Nicolae was assaulted first, forced to defend himself against a relentless attack.**  

This is not justice. This is a death sentence by neglect.

Standing up for what is right means defending justice, fairness, and freedom, even in the face of adversity. It’s not about seeking conflict but refusing to surrender to oppression or intimidation. Strength in conviction ensures that others can stand their ground without fear, creating a world where integrity prevails. The price of resistance can be steep, but those who refuse to yield shape the future—so that everyone has the right to stand their ground.

Governor Tony Evers has the power to grant compassionate release, allowing Nicolae to receive proper medical care and spend his remaining days in a safe environment. We urge the governor to act now—before it's too late.
