On the chilling nights of January 8th and 9th, 2026, Iran witnessed a horrific genocide. The Islamic regime executed a brutal crackdown on its own citizens, massacring over 40,000 unarmed civilian protestors who dared to seek justice and freedom. Among these senseless murders were over 800 individuals executed, many of whom were athletes, representing the nation's hope and courage on international platforms. Despite their peaceful protest, their cries for justice were met with gunfire, rape, and torture.

This grave injustice did not stop with mere executions; prisoners were raped, injured civilians were buried alive, and grieving families were extorted, forced to pay bullet fees to retrieve the bodies of their loved ones. The tyranny displayed by the regime is beyond comprehension and violates every fundamental human right.

In light of these atrocities, it is imperative to take a stand against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Allowing  Islamic Republic of Iran’s participation in World Cup 2026 sends a profound message of endorsement and tolerance for such violations. Therefore, we call upon FIFA and international bodies to take action and ban Iran from participating in this prestigious event, which stands for unity, peace, and fair play.

A ban on Islamic Republic of Iran would reflect the international community's denouncement of such brutal violations and serve as a clear message that such acts of injustice will not be tolerated nor ignored.

Other countries have faced similar consequences. South Africa was banned from the World Cup from nineteen sixty one to nineteen ninety two due to its apartheid policies. Japan was banned in nineteen forty two and Germany was banned in nineteen forty two as well following their actions during World War Two. 

It is not only about standing in solidarity with those who have lost their lives but also about safeguarding the basic principles of humanity and preserving the sanctity of international sports.

In addition, banning the lion and sun international flag from the FIFA is a direct endorsement of the most brutal regime in the world which is not acceptable by the humanity.
