Stand Against Hate: Call the Media press Amazon to stop the sales of Ann Coulter’s books
The Issue
Why Amazon Should Stop Publishing Ann Coulter’s Material
We are calling on Amazon to take a stand against hate and insensitivity by ceasing the publication and distribution of Ann Coulter’s books and other materials. Coulter’s recent heartless tweet about Gus Walz at the Democratic National Convention was not only cruel but also utterly disrespectful to a young man whose parents, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and his wife, Gwen, describe as “brilliant, hyper-aware of details that many of us pass by, and above all else, an excellent son.”
Gus, who has a non-verbal learning disorder, ADHD, and an anxiety disorder, is a shining example of resilience and strength. His parents have even referred to these conditions as his “secret power,” allowing him to navigate the world in a uniquely insightful way. Coulter’s words not only attack Gus but also show a blatant disregard for the experiences of countless others who live with similar challenges.
As a company that claims to prioritize inclusion and diversity, Amazon should not support or profit from someone who spreads such harmful rhetoric. We ask Amazon to take action by halting the publication of Ann Coulter’s work unless she offers a sincere public apology to Gus and his family.
This is about more than just one tweet—it’s about standing up for what is right and ensuring that no one is made to feel less because of who they are. We urge Amazon to join us in this call for accountability
Sincerely,
Supporters of Gus Walz
