Regrettably, the moment has arrived for me to conclude the Stand Against Live Animal Export petition. Since its inception, change.org has received over $97,000 to promote the petition, yet we have not achieved the target of 500,000 signatures. This is profoundly disappointing, as those funds could have facilitated substantial advertising efforts across Australia.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each individual who took the time to sign this petition; I have recorded your signatures and am still exploring ways to present them to parliament, in some capacity.
Many of you may be aware that a documentary was in production about my journey and the establishment of Stand Against Live Animal Exports. Unfortunately, I must convey that the documentary is currently on hold and may not proceed in the future. The filmmaker has encountered personal challenges that prevent her from continuing, although she remains open to the possibility of resuming the project at a later date. I fully support her decision. I appreciate your interest in the film and its development, but it has always been a secondary aspect of my mission. My primary focus has consistently been on the effort to abolish Live Animal Export, and I assure you that my commitment to this cause will persist, with or without the documentary.

Anthony Albanese has legislated for the termination of the Live Sheep Export trade by May 1st, 2028; however, sheep will still be transported by air, and cattle along with other animals will continue to be shipped on these dreadful floating coffins. There remains an immense amount of work to be accomplished; we are far from finished!
I won’t give up fighting, I hope YOU don’t either…
