This is the second last update, once the election is over I will post a final update. It’s time to close these petitions.

Your donations on change,  do NOT go to Stand Against Live Animal Export!

During the course of these petitions many people donated, a vast majority believed their donations were going to Stand Against Live Animal Export -
over $97,000 has been paid to Change.org. 

$97,000 could have seen massive banners across the country and in key areas. The awareness these banners would have created definitely would have helped to strengthen our fight.

I would genuinely like to THANK every single person who added their name to these petitions, without your signature we would not be celebrating the legislation introduced by Anthony Albanese to end Live Sheep Export by sea on May 1st, 2028. 

As a collective, WE made the change!

However we cannot give up, there is still, such a long way to go. From May 1st 2028 Australian sheep will no longer be shipped offshore for slaughter on these horrific sea journeys, but they will still be flown into foreign countries for slaughter, it’s such a bittersweet outcome.

The last update I will release a statement about the documentary the was being produced by Deborah, the closure of the petitions will be shortly after the election results. I urge everyone to join the Stand Against Live Animal Export Facebook pages or the (3 monthly) newsletter. The website will have updated news on there, if you want to keep up to date please go to;
