This coming Saturday I have another Protest/Awareness Day at Town Hall, Sydney (Australia).
I know the Live Sheep Export phase is now legislated, however it should include ALL animals and it should much sooner, we need to keep educating the public about this savage industry, so as a collective movement we can stop such a brutal and unnecessary “trade”.
If you haven’t been to a Stand Against Live Animal Exports Protest/Awareness Day and it is possible for you to be there, please try and make the effort for these animals, they’re counting on us.
The Northern Summer ban for Live Sheep Export ends shortly, I believe it is this Saturday, the same day as the Protest/Awareness Day, so while we are at Town Hall speaking out on behalf of the animals, our beautiful sheep will be being loaded onto a death ship bound for a brutal end.
We cannot underestimate the importance of these Awareness Days. I truly believe we (Stand Against Live Animal Exports) have been a major influence in the 2028 Live Sheep Export ban, I know many other organisations have worked tirelessly to ensure the ban has been announced as have we but we all need to continue our work to see the ban enforced.
Julie Collin’s is the Agriculture Minister now, PLEASE email her and let her know that all Live Animal Export should be included in the ban and it’s time for a referendum on this issue.
Last update I asked if you wanted to go on the bus to Canberra, I’d need a deposit which I’d reimburse on the day, this was to make sure those people turned up and I didn’t pay for a bus and no one turns up. 1 person gave me a deposit and I’ve not heard from anyone else, so I’ve decided to reimburse Maria her money and cancel Canberra totally.
I wanted it to happen but I cannot risk spending all that money and have no one in the bus.
I’ve decided to buy a lot of smaller banners and ask if anyone would like one to hang up in their area somewhere. I’d prefer to spend the money and get “some” advertising than spend $2 - $3 thousand and no one shows up.
