12th May 2024 Murray Watt announced the date the PHASE OUT will begin - it’s the 1st of May 2028 which I find absolutely pathetic!
Labor may not be voted back in…
So what does this mean, this means we ALL need to up the ante and let Labor know we are far from happy, they mad a promise pre election, it is not dependent on them being re elected, it MUST happen sooner or NO VOTE!
We need to treat this like we did prior to the last election, it must be urgent, it must be intense and we ALL must partake …PLEASE, I AM PLEADING WITH YOU….

I do want to say THANK YOU though to everyone who has previously written, emailed or phoned the Prime Minister, Agriculture Department or your local MP. It takes a community to bring about change and we are so close but there is still more to do.
June 20th NSW Parliament House - Peaceful Protest Midday to 1pm, hopefully Emma Hurst will be able to come out and say hello and take some flyers back in with her. Please if you can be there, all governments need to know there are more people against Live Animal Export than for it.
22nd of June - Town Hall - Awareness Day : 11:30 to 1:30 Please come along and help us to educate more people about Live Animal Export, even if you just want to hold a banner, remember it’s for the animals. Hopefully this time we will have the peaceful protest march down George St, it’s not a long walk, it’s only 1 block but it helps to bring attention to the issues of Live Animal Exports
November 21 - Canberra Parliament House has been given the go ahead, we just need people on the bus, there are plenty of seats so again PLEASE consider making the effort. That day will be our last BIG push before the next election, an extremely important day! If you need the timetable for the day, please email me and I’ll send it through. even if you’re not going to be on the bus but will be there on the day, PLEASE let me know. I need to know if it’s going to be worthwhile. It is going to cost me around $3,200 for the 1 day, so I need to know it is going to be absolutely undoubtedly worthwhile.
