The National Farmers Federation are trying to convince  the government that there are more people wanting Live Animal Export to continue than those who wish for it to end. This is absolutely ludicrous but it’s typical of Live Animal Exporters, twisting the truth to suit themselves..

WE need to start demanding the Labor Government end Live Animal Export ASAP! If these farmers get their way, they will expand the industry so any hope of ending it will be lost entirely.

WE ALL NEED TO BE PROACTIVE IN ACTIONING THIS. The government needs to be fully aware that the Australian People despise this industry and everything about it.

After the recent Protest/Awareness Day, Andrew, Maria and myself went for coffee. Maria suggested that on the (30/8/23) every person (or as many as possible) take a letter into their local MP’s office and let them know you want Live Sheep Export to be phased out this term
To make an impact the letter needs to be hand deliver it to your local MP and we all need to do it on the same date.
Im happy to write the letter, but if you feel confident in writing a short, direct letter to your MP then please go ahead but don’t forget the date. I will remind everyone prior to that date.
If you cannot do it on the 30/8/23, we will do a second date on Wednesday 13th of September. If you did it on the 30th of August, you can do it again on the 13th but we need as many people as possible to do this. It would be wonderful if people could target their Labor and Liberal MP’s.

There is no particular time but the date is important, we feel it would be best to do it before the panel releases the phase out papers which are to be finalised by 30th of September.

I have applied for Perth and Sydney Protest/Awareness Days on the 14/10/23 and the 9/12/23. PLEASE mark your calendar.
