Sorry I have not updated lately, doing this really wears you down, even more so with the highs and lows. One moment you feel absolutely positive that we will end it, then we hear things that make you extremely doubtful, it’s an emotional roller coaster.
Lately I’ve had many people throwing their negativity my way and I started to burn out again. Bit by bit I am gaining strength though.

Anna-Lisa is desperately trying to get more permits for Perth but the Events people in Perth have rejected her application, it’s absolutely ridiculous. So it looks like Perth we can hand out flyers in Forrest Chase Mall and have banners still but we are not allowed a microphone or table. I will speak to someone in the know in WA this week to see if there are any other options..

SYDNEY
I am trying to organise an Awareness Day at Town Hall, Sydney for July 22, however this one will hopefully be a bit different.
My plan is to have some people (if we can get enough) to march to Town Hall where they will meet up with the rest of us. In previous times when I’ve marched once we arrived at Town Hall most of my time is taken in setting up, which reduces our exposure time. This way the people who find the march too hard can come straight to Town Hall and the younger, fitter people can march down and meet us.
Sabrina will be leading the march with a megaphone and I hopefully will have a school bell that someone can ring (like the town crier) to help bring attention to the march. The previous ones went really well, we had some people join in, I will also have the QR codes on small banners for passers-by’s to scan and sign the petition.
We do need at least 10 people to make the march worthwhile, so PLEASE if you live in Sydney or an hour or 2 away, please make the effort for these animals, they’re counting on US to reduce their abuse.
I firmly believe if we don’t phase out Live Sheep Export now, Live Animal Export will never wane.
THE ANIMALS NEED US NOW, NOT LATER.
If you think you can make it drop me an email and let me know. I am asking that people really try and wear an Orange T shirt or top. I have some Orange Hi Vis Vests that I can let people wear in the march, I’ll buy some more and put the Stand Against Live Animal Exports logo on them..
I have the new stickers that have the QR code printed on them, Anna-Lisa, Maddy, Grainne and a few other people have been putting them out and about in their areas.
I had 4 days in Brisbane for my 60th birthday so my husband and I hit bus stops, ferry stops, restrooms and popular tourist places with these stickers, we ended up putting out 80 stickers around the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. We need to grow this petition to the 500,000 mark and we need to do it asap.
The panel consists of Warren Snowdon, Heather Neil, Phillip Glyde and Sue Middleton.
I am trying to find their contact details so we can email them and let them know how we feel about Live Animal Export, this panel is currently meeting with a lot of farmers in WA. I just hope these 2 men and 2 women have morals and integrity unlike our Live Animal Exporters.
