MELBOURNE - I’ve decided to defer Melbourne’s Awareness Day for now, the lack of interest being a major reason. I have tentatively earmarked the 9th of August as the possible Awareness Day and possibly a location change. It will still be in Melbourne central but maybe in Bourke street mall.
‘I just find it extremely sad that people won’t come out to support the animals after I’ve travelled over 800 km’s. If August goes ahead and I get less than 10 people, it will be my last trip south.
SYDNEY: I am looking at sound another Awareness Day on the 6th of May. It will be at Town Hall, 11:30 -1:30 unless it rains, then we will be on the eastern side of the QVB Building, outside Haigh’s Chocolates.
I can’t stress how important it is that we educate more people, the live sheep exports are finally looking like they will end, but that means we need to add more pressure to the current Grubament so they move to end it “this” term and not next term, like they’ve stated.
Maria one of our supporters and regulars to Sydney emailed me a link that she feels may be important and I tend to agree, it’s a survey from the Greens, Please have your say and let them know that they have an obligation to Stand Against Live Animal Exports and to do more than they currently do.

*The other reminder - tomorrow is the first Monday of April, so if you can please send an email to these people, it would be greatly appreciated, it doesn’t need to be long, short and simple even I Stand Against Live Animal Exports and expect this government to honour their promise to Reduce the Abuse and end Live Sheep Exports.
