As most people would know the Melbourne Awareness Day is on the 2nd of July in Federation Square. I will be there from around 11am but it doesn’t start until 11:30 and finishes around 1:30.

I seriously hope we can get enough people so every banner is on display and we can hand out plenty of flyers/stickers and pens.

I don’t ask anyone to do anything they’re not comfortable doing, I know many people are uncomfortable handing out flyers, if you just want to stand with us and show your support for the animals of the Live Export trade I’m extremely happy with that. Some people make their own banner and bring it 

For anyone who has not been to a Stand Against Live Animal Exports Awareness Day, it’s all about raising awareness and educating the public. 

Most of the supporters stand there with a banner, some hand out flyers, stickers and pens while and usually there are 2-3 speakers. This is not a day to educate us, it’s all about educating those who don’t know about Live Animal Export.

I have a list of MP’s email addresses we are doing a mass email send to. Anthony Albanese no longer has a simple email address, you have to go through the Labor Parties website to email him. I’ve been sending handwritten letters to him, I honestly believe we can encourage Mt Albanese to end Live Animal Export sooner if we hit him with facts. I’m also peppering his social media pages. 

We cannot slow down now, we need to keep pushing this agenda now more than ever. Please keep sharing this petition..
