Melbourne Stand Against Live Animal Exports Awareness Day is all sorted.
I’m coming down to Melbourne again and on Saturday the 2nd of July from 11:30 - 1:30 we have access to the Flinders Street Station side of Federation Square. Our people are allowed to go across outside the railway station and hand out flyers. I’m extremely excited this time knowing we have better access to the public.
PLEASE if you have the opportunity come along and help us help the animals, then come along - in case of bad weather, we will probably meet under the railway awning at the far end. Let’s hope it’s wonderful weather.

If anyone wants T shirts for the day, please order and pay now, I’m not allowed to sell anything on the day.. Tees are $40 and that’s with tracked postage.

So Anthony Albanese has announced Live Animal Export will NOT end this term. This is appalling, he made out Labor would end Live Animal Export so to now say this is again smoke and mirrors. We need to email him and Murray Watt. 

I’m considering a picket outside the Lodge in Canberra, maybe in October. I will let people know when I know.

The Summer Ban started on June 1st, so until September 14th no sheep will leave our shores for any other country for slaughter (that we know off, o don’t trust anything they say anymore). Cattle are still being shipped though, so it’s a partial summer ban…appalling I think!

I believe handing out flyers, talking to people to make them aware of this industry is paramount to ending Live Animal Export. There are far more people unaware of Live Exports than those who know about it, it’s up to us to educate them…all!

Sydney - I have organised another Awareness Day, it will be August 20th, 11:30-1:30 at Town Hall again. I will have back up batteries for the PA system, last time was a nightmare.
I’m typing up a fact sheet, it should be ready in the next week or so, this fact sheet I’m going to ask if people would be happy to receive it and then forward it on to their local MP, Anthony Albanese and other supplied email addresses..
