After a short victory celebration, the handbrake of horror has been put on! Yes NZ who announced they will phase out Live Animal Export have since declared it is stopping Live Animal Export by sea.... I guess it’s better but it’s still not good enough. We all know where these animals go, the welfare standards lack proper regulation. (Yes even Australia could do far better with animal welfare laws.)

With the MAD (Melbourne Awareness Day) not too far off I just wanted to let people know who plan on coming, I cannot sell T shirts or other merchandise on the day, so if you wanted anything it will have be this week or Monday/Tuesday next week at the latest.

We also need to start putting more orange ribbons out in memory of the animals, we need to start upping the ante, emailing politicians, writing letters etc, please being proactive is the one way we can all do something without leaving home..x
