UPDATE: WE HAVE TAKEN STACYS LAW TO THE DECISION MAKERS

📢 STACY’S LAW UPDATE — WE HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DECISION-MAKERS
Over the past few weeks, Stacy’s family and I have been working to make sure Stacy’s Law cannot simply be overlooked or passed from one department to another.
We have now contacted key decision-makers and organisations, including the First Minister, Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Minister for Victims and Community Safety, MSPs across the political parties, members of the Scottish Parliament’s Criminal Justice Committee, Police Scotland, and the Scottish Government’s Justice and Safer Communities Directorates.
Stacy’s case and the call for GPS monitoring have already reached the Scottish Parliament. The First Minister has said the issue is receiving “urgent attention” and that he wants progress “as quickly as possible.”
Our focus now is pushing Parliament and the Scottish Government for a clear roll-out date.
We want to know when GPS monitoring will actually be introduced for high-risk domestic abuse cases and when people at risk will begin to benefit from the additional protection it could provide.
Stacy’s family and I will continue pushing for answers and keeping this issue firmly in front of those who have the power to make change happen.
Acknowledgement is no longer enough. We need a timetable. We need a roll-out date. We need action.
Thank you to every single person who has signed and shared Stacy’s Law and supported us in getting this far. Please keep signing and sharing. Every voice behind this petition strengthens our call for action.
Stacy should be alive. We cannot wait for another family to suffer this devastating loss before change happens.
