Good afternoon!

On behalf of many homeowners, I am sending you the petition we've been circulating since this July 1, 2024, notice of intent to amend the Fence and Walls section of the CC&Rs.

We ABSOLUTELY OBJECT to the power grab the language of this amendment secures as demonstrated in our petition of 412 and growing, 149 signatures today alone!

The existing language is sufficient as is for the CC&Rs to be enforced in a manner that maintains the aesthetics of the homes in the community, and thus our home values.

A dictator style power grab is not necessary!

Acting under the current authority of the CC&Rs, in all its sufficiency as is, is ALL that is needed!

If this board and the HOA simply acted under the authority already conveyed by the CC&Rs, the Sendera Ranch community would be JUST FINE!

What this amendment does is makes all homeowners in this community vulnerable to overbearing, unreasonable, irrational, unnecessary, costly and unlimited financial burdening at the hands of the Sendera Ranch governing bodies.

As was demonstrated these past few months, the Sendera Ranch powers that be will use any lengths to harass homeowners into submission. We witnessed notice after notice after notice pretending to have the authority to force fence staining on homeowners, and in a very short timeframe.

Homeowners were fearful and scrambling, those that don't really get how to stand up against the nonsense.

The Sendera Ranch governing bodies conceded...and then this...an amendment with a power grab to force what we opposed.

What happens going forward?!

What happens to homeowners in this God-awful economy when the Sendera Ranch governing bodies use this power grab taking sole and absolute discretion to harass homeowners?! What happens then?!

The Sendera Ranch powers that be exist to protect the homeowners and their investments and to act on their behalf. Does this amendment truly protect the homeowners and their investments, or simply dole out power to force homeowners into submission, submission that no doubt will cause extreme undue financial hardship on homeowners.

We, the Sendera Ranch Homeowners, ask and expect you to VOTE AGAINST this amendment! A vote for is a vote against the homeowners.
