This petition is about the specific purpose, of taking back control of Special Taxes. They are used to take away property. This law gives power to the local government, to take over property that does not belong to them and to do extra construction work on property which deprives people of the property they own.
Sec. 74-32. - Right of entry for purposes of enforcement.
Police officers and other employees of the city authorized by the city manager or the chief of police are hereby authorized and required to go, in the daytime, in and upon any house, building, lot, or premises, whether public or private, to remove abating any nuisance, when abatement of a nuisance is ordered under the provisions of this chapter.
'The city may also issue a special tax bill to collect costs associated with housing, property maintenance, and nuisance code violations'. Omit from municipal code for the purpose of striking down. Hereby signing I affirm that the City of Springfield will not be allowed to collect any costs associated with this bill.
These are not necessary functions or that the law provides that property should be taken by local officials. For the local government of Springfield to be able to go on someone's property for abatement. This petition will expand property protection. That we shall not have elimination of property power of Springfield. Our constitution provides property protection. This shall be addressed. People of the city of Springfield, this should not exist, and why we need your support… In my personal experience, I had someone personally burn part of my house down and then they faced no liability or charges then a neighbor complained that the soot caused him a breathing problem, for which I was forced to pay 7500, and then they have been on my heels to pay and I want to enforce the elimination of the policy and power of Springfield not to be able to abate and retain ownership in any situation. It is also believed this gives people a chance to call the city on you and drive you into debt so someone will commandeer your house. These are the challenges I have faced. I want to overcome these challenges and speak to the public about these life-changing challenges of life. I don't think people deserve any legal repercussions for something that doesn't affect someone else people can have as much power as they do and cause so much harm in a matter of minutes and retain ownership of somebody else's property. I have people coming in my house to vandalize just to cut wires not steal the wires but just for the sake of me not being able to fix it up. I am hard-pressed to find an answer. Whenever disasters happen they can give you more issues and do away with the law altogether retroactively to protect people and any damages this law has caused, who it’s happening to, and harms financial stability and the welfare of our community. Puts people out of a place to live in some instances that without this, this gives them the due process they need and this will reduce the power of the city and expand the power of the community. Our city deserves some rectification and the possibility to grow and be able to retain and rebuild without complications. The problem that I have seen is that while you are building up you have to pay the city tax on top of materials, time from work, and working yourself into a circle that never ends when you are not able to build material wealth to address the issue causing the problem in the first place. I think taking the city’s advantage over others and charging them costs. This isn’t causing them a problem in the first place would greatly reduce the city’s poverty and create more hope and housing benefits.
The city is supposed to be there to help people not drive them down with no money to do anything else but work in the interest of their needs through the power of taxation they should be there as a vanguard of protection against unwanted guests even if it's city officials and providing privacy for unwanted guests. Just being able to take advantage without the property owners having rights. Which the city has the power to uphold, and protect their community for the benefit of the individual to protect themselves from lawsuits and unwanted litigation with the city to hold amounts of payouts over the general public so the city can make you sign a contract and intimidate you. I also want to contend that anyone who is paying the city of Springfield or anything else associated with this bill should be void and null and that any money they obtained by remitting benefits back to the property owners that are paying these illegal debts because these are double taxation purposes. You are already taxed at the end of the year and any monies that they obtained in the contract are because they hold the law over people's heads and threaten to sell their property. Money should be returned back immediately after the judgment in this matter. Also concerning and not limited to those people that have lost their property and the city has retained ownership of property that the deed be returned to them without leisure of lien meaning that the land house be returned to the previous owner's name before it went to the hands of the city. Citizens of Springfield certified property rights be given and granted back to the preexisting owners before the deed was released to the City of Springfield. Any other contents that were harmed and deemed able to be reimbursed. For any attorney fees or other damages deemed necessary for the recovery of the structure and any other damages that the court deems appropriate and necessary. As of this petition any and all contracts that were made as a result of The Special Tax Bill also be stuck down and void all monies contingent with this be paid back to all people who paid them.
