

Thanks to everyone who has signed the Aylesham Community Action (ACA) campaign calling for a different form of consultation, leading to real dialogue and discussion about what is needed in the Aylesham site in Peckham town centre.
Please do continue to spread the message to your friends and family and across your networks. We still need a strong show of cross community support to achieve our aim.
The latest news is:
Blackrock / Tiger's planning application does not appear to have been submitted, which is the first vital step towards pausing the process and creating time for discussion.
The Aylesham plans were part of a “Southwark Transformed” virtual tour on 17 October, looking at good and bad planning in the borough (http://www.southwarktransformed.org.uk Thanks to Winnie Obese-Bempong and Josh Bools for speaking for the ACA. Leo Pollock, Southwark Cabinet member for Housing, supported Winnie and Josh’s comments, and stated that the council is pushing Blackrock / Tiger to improve their responsiveness to what residents are saying
