On 8th October the Petition, with c. 3015 signatures, was submitted to South Ayrshire Council. In their reply they are refusing to acknowledge the Petition on the grounds that it does not meet their Petition Protocols.

Therefore I would ask all SAC Council Tax Payers and all users of the Ayr Citadel Leisure Centre to:

• Contact their Councillor and protest this proposal on the grounds of unnecessary costs to the public purse.
• Protest at the lack of public awareness about this Project and any other comments that you may have.
• Visit the following website and review the proposed plans and respond as requested by the site - https://www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/article /35539/New-Ayr-leisure-centre-Pre-application-consultation

Inaction will result in this Project going ahead - although action doesn't guarantee that SAC will listen.
