Independent inquiry into the handling of the Gel Blaster industry in South Australia.

The issue

ARE YOU TIRED OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR CLOSING BUSINESSES OVER NIGHT WITHOUT AND MEANINGFUL CONSULTATION???

SAPOL and the South Australian liberal government colluded to regulate the Gel blaster industry in such a way so that it would no longer exist in South Australia. The regulation has since led to the over 200,000 toy guns being now labelled as firearms in the State.

This means that families that used to play with them in their backyard are now able to be charged with firearms offences under the regulation and homes are now able to be searched without a warrant under suspicion.

No meaningful consultation was made with industry regarding this and there is already a successful model in Qld for regulating the industry.

We would like for Stephen Howard, Grantley Stevens, Minister Vincent Tarzia and the premier Steven Marshall to lose office over the mass entrapment of general members of the public.

They have also ignored multiple requests from members of their own electorate to discuss and have been misleading in the information they have provided. 350 people lost their job with over 50 businesses being forced to close overnight at a cost of approximately $50mil to the South Australian economy. The industry attempted to take them to the Supreme Court and they changed the regulation making the case null and void.

We need this abuse of power and corruption to be taken seriosuly and we need the people involved held accountable........
