News about the Graham Street Light Rail Station

Hi Folks, There's been great progress made since the last update, and a lot of organizing muscle is now pushing for the Graham Street Light Rail Station. Transportation Choices Coalition, Puget Sound Sage and the Rainier Beach Community Empowerment Coalition have all been doing awesome work! There is an upcoming Sound Transit board meeting on December 18th, and the board is going to consider an amendment officially putting the Graham Street Station back into Sound Transit's plan. There's a strong letter of support from many organizations in our community addressed to Dow Constantine (Chair of Sound Transit) which will be delivered in advance of the meeting. We are attaching all of your petition signatures and comments to the letter, but if you are a business owner, it would be great to call out your business specifically in the list with the other supporting organizations.
