Graham St. Station - KUOW wants to do a story about it and needs your help

Hey Everyone - Jamala Henderson contacted me and wants to do a story about our petition to reinstate the Graham St. light rail station. I sent her all of the comments that folks submitted, but she'd like to hear more. Please contact her with the reasons why you want a station at Graham St. Below is a note from her, along with her contact information. Very exciting! ******************************************************************************** Greetings- I’m working on a story about the South Seattle community’s interest in getting a light rail station put in at MLK and Graham street. I’d love to hear from residents about why- (too far away, crime, ect.) either by phone, or via email. Ultimately I’d like to meet with a couple of people in person willing to be interviewed on tape, preferably at either the Othello or Columbia stations. My numbers are below! P.S. I’ll be working the early shift on 8/22, (meaning I’ll be leaving the office early in the day Friday) but I’ll definitely be around next week- and the best times to reach me directly by phone will be between 10am and 2:45pm.
