We the undersigned are calling for full transparency, accountability, and immediate corrective action regarding the treatment of Ryan Brown We are calling for urgent action on behalf of Ryan Brown, an inmate at Eastern Correctional Institution, who recently experienced a serious and dangerous incident involving an electrical fan inside the facility. According to the account provided, Ryan was instructed to adjust a fan while working. The moment he touched it, he felt a powerful current travel through his entire body. The shock was so strong that it pulled him closer, and when he finally managed to release his grip, the force threw him backward.

This incident left Ryan with burnt fingertips, redness and irritation in his eyes, severe fatigue, dizziness, and an intense headache. He reported that his heart was beating so rapidly afterward that he could not sleep, and he genuinely feared he might die. Ryan is also epileptic and experiences some of the most severe forms of seizures, which can be triggered by stress, trauma, or physical injury. Despite all of this, he reportedly received no meaningful medical care other than being given over the counter medication.

Every person has a soul, and every person deserve safety, dignity, and proper medical evaluation. No one should endure a medical emergency without appropriate follow up or attention. This situation calls for immediate review, immediate medical care, and a transparent investigation to ensure this never happens again.
