A plan was in place before the general election to sort out the Moor Farm roundabout.

The ambitious plans looked at sorting this conjestion and bottleneck which impacts anyone using the roundabout and accessing Cramlington, Northumberland, the wider North Tyneside and Newcastle areas.

Now we learn that under the new government they no longer consider this location a priority and work on the project has been stopped. So it will remain the only roundabout on the A19 which won't benefit from a multi million pound scheme to stop the traffic chaos.
Silverlink and Testo roundabouts have been sorted. Cramlington will not.

This is wrong! Improvements shouldn't stop once they reach Northumberland.

We think the Government should support investment into this vital transport intersection in Cramlington. They have scrapped the dualling of the A1 and now this. 

The hypocrisy in this is that the very people responsible for doing the work to improve the junction are the same ones objecting to planning applications that would bring development and employment to the area. They say the junction couldn't handle any increase in volume! It can't even handle it now!
