Our sorority members were recently informed that our beloved executive chef, Shawn Chilli was fired. Although his sense of humor can sometimes be misinterpreted, there is no one, in our eyes, that can create a more welcoming environment in the kitchen for our members. Chilli, as we call him, goes above and beyond his job description. He has often times been seen tending to the flowers on the front porch and has made the extra effort to care for members in the house who are feeling under the weather. Chilli comes to work every day, accomplishing his goals of making members of the house smile and laugh, while creating cuisines desired to eat. And, he does all of this while battling the severe disease of cystic fibrosis. The bond that Chilli has with the members of Pi Phi cannot be replaced and not only do we think of him as a chef, but also as a friend. He truly cares about the well-being of each woman - asking how their day is and often times "what's shakin'." The members of the house are truly hurt that their opinion was not taken into consideration and we will do everything we can to bring him back! Pi Phi is not and will not be the same without Chilli!
