Sony and Marvel Studios have split from a deal to include Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to a disagreement over profit shares. This is going to leave many fans of the current series unhappy when it's especially doing so well with it's recent film release. They can't just simply cut him out when there's still so much that can be told. Sony may think it can do well now but I think it will do poorly without the true Marvel people at the helm. Their film "Venom" may have been a success at the box office but it was poorly reviewed. They may have done well with "Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse" but there's no telling if they can repeat the same success. I think it's time Sony gave back to Marvel what is rightfully theirs Marvel now has back almost all their characters with the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Walt Disney but even so it wouldn't be complete without all it's heroes and villains under the same roof. Speaking of which Walt Disney had to sell their branch to Sony in Mexico to achieve the deal. So to speak I say they owe them something back in return. Walt Disney has plenty of money still despite the losses they've sustained with the recent Fox movies so I say they spare a few more dollars to reclaim what should be their's.
