A lot of petitions have been started to have Sony give the rights to Spider-Man back to Marvel for good after the recent split between them and Walt Disney seen here https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/film/2019/aug/21/spider-man-out-of-marvel-cinematic-universe-after-disney-split-with-sony. But however just in case this is a back plan for if "they" will sell the rights back over. This by having another company acquire this one in this case that would be the tech giant Apple. 

It was rumored in 2018 that Apple was looking into buying its own streaming service and apparently one possibility was Sony. This year AT&T finished its acquisition of Time Warner the owner of Warner Bros. which was not easy, but they did it so I say they might have a chance. The point though is that according to Sam Plank seen here https://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/spiderman-return-mcu-apple-buying-sony-rumor-true/ should Apple buy Sony the rights to Spider-Man would have to return to Marvel and Walt Disney (which you can talk to and follow him here @tw1tterintw1t on Twitter). 

The current CEO of Sony said he will not give up the company but however never say never. Apple has of this year $245 billion that means they have more than enough to possibly convince Sony to sell. But however they need the push to do it especially if we want to see as well Spider-Man return home where he belongs. So support this petition to support another great company acquisition to ensure the Marvel Cinematic Universe stays intact.
