It has been recently revealed that none other than Tom Holland, the 23 year old British actor, will be starring in the Uncharted Movie as the 35 year old Treasure Hunter/Architect, Nathan Drake.

The reason I am making this petition is to recast Nathan Drake, as Tom Holland looks, sounds, and is basically nothing like Nathan himself. Tom Holland is over a decade younger than Nathan, and is not the right person for this character.

There are many other movies he can touch, but not Uncharted. This is way too far fetched to have a 23 year old play someone a decade older than them, and have the only similarity to the characters he the hair color. Even the personalities are slightly similar, but not to a large extent.

Yes I realize it’s acting and personalities change, but there is no way that Tom can match the personality as Nathan and get away with the obvious age and visual differences.

This movie is based off a video game. Meaning that Sony has to higher actual good representations of the characters to have the movie itself be well reviewed and favored, but if they cast complete opposites into movies, such as the (joke) petition to make Cap. Marvel black, then this will flop and discredit Sony Studios in the movie making franchise.
