A lot of consoles that were released by Sony have a hardware/ software issue called CE-108255-1, this makes the consoles not able to play PS5 games, this has been an issue since launch day, Sony tells their customer service staff to tell consumers to wait for a patch as it is a software issue, if this were the case it would affect all consoles, the bottom line is the consoles were expensive and they need to replace them with working consoles as it isn't the consumers fault they were given faulty hardware, I work in retail and I know better than anyone else is something doesn't work it is to be replaced or refunded.
