All cellphones to have standard anti texting and driving mode.

All cellphones to have standard anti texting and driving mode.
The Issue
According to the National Safety Council, 1.6 million accidents a year are caused by texting while driving. Texting is responsible for 25% of all accidents and causes 11 teen deaths EVERY DAY!
AT&T currently offer an app for anti texting while driving for Android and Blackberry phones. However, this not available on all phones and carriers.
It is already illegal to text and drive. Why can't all the carriers and cellphone makers make this a standard app or mode that is available on all cellphones?
The U.S. is on a pace for what could be the deadliest year on the roads since 2007. According to the National Safety Council, between January and June 2015, about 18,630 people died in traffic accidents across the country -- that's up 14 percent from the same period in 2014 -- and more than 2.2 million were seriously injured.
Please join me in getting cellphone makers and carriers to step up and do their part. This will help save lives and make the roads a safer place for all of us.
