Remove the new Snapchat Update

The issue

With the release of the new Snapchat update, many users have found that it has not made the app easier to use, but has in fact made many features more difficult.

There is a general level of annoyance among users and many have decided to use a VPN app, or are using other risky apps or steps, to go back to the old Snapchat as that’s how annoying this new update has become.

Many ‘new features’ are useless or defeats the original purposes Snapchat has had for the past years.

Please note: with the most recent update (February 2018) text fonts were released, and a number of users believe that small features like this should be kept in place. 

This petition aims to help convince Snap Inc. to change the app back to the basics, before the new 2018 update.

We completely understand the new Snapchat has felt uncomfortable for many. By putting everything from your friends in one place, our goal was to make it easier to connect with the people you care about most. The new Friends page will adapt to you and get smarter over time, reflecting who you’re most likely to be Snapping with at that moment. This same personalization is also true of the new Discover, which will adapt to you the more that you use it.
