Slow down Wrong-Way driving with a flash

Slow down Wrong-Way driving with a flash
The Issue
My name is Hannah Dike and I am currently an inmate in ADOC for wrong-way driving that resulted in the death of a beloved man named, Robert Kramer. I am writing/starting this petition to try and slow down the rate at which wrong-way driving happens. Whether is be cause by drunk driving (as was mine) or confused driving, it is deadly and a dangerous occurrence that happens way too often. I am highly aware of the severity of my crime and I take full responsibility for what I have done, and the emotional trauma and damage that I have caused. What I want to offer is a possible solution for cases like mine to have a different result in the future. Although I have not felt the pain I have caused, I have heard it from the family first hand, and this is a tragedy that needs to slow down, it needs to stop. I know that is an unrealistic goal. My goal, none the less.
Here's another idea I have to attempt to stop wrong-way driving.
Wrong-way traffic cameras: Just like the ones placed at red lights and speed cameras.
Have a camera on all freeway exits. When someone enters an exit (like I did), They get flashed, alerting the driver that something is wrong, also have a red flashing light that activates notifying the driver that they are going the "WRONG WAY". I think this approach would be more effective in alerting the driver, sometimes it is easy to miss a street sign. This camera would capture a picture of the driver, ready to send to dispatch, with the car's make, model, and license plate number. The driver would then receive a ticket.
Hopefully dispatch is able to locate the driver, before they cause a deadly accident.
This would also be a good way to keep track of how often wrong-way driving actually happens. Imagine how many times this has happened and the person was caught on and turned around or pulled over. Knowing how often it happens will help us find out what is working and what is not, therefore finding better ways to prevent it in the future.
Ideas for wrong-way ticket punishment:
-Attend special traffic school that goes in depth of how freeways work and how to drive in bigger cities.
-Have to pass a freeway driving test
-Identify street signs and what they mean
-Take survey on why they thought that was the right way.
In my opinion this would be a great way to help prevent wrong-way drivers. Though, it does not stop them immediately, it will inform law enforcement before citizens could and generate a ticket that will keep a record of people that are doing it. Once we are able to find out who is doing this (if they remember doing it) hopefully, they would be willing to answer some questions to why they were confused. This might help get insight on how to make things more clear to the community. Wrong-way tickets are better than injuries or death. This will help people that get on the freeway the wrong-way and correct themselves before something bad happens.
This will inform law enforcement so that maybe they have a better chance to catch the driver before they cause an accident. These classes will help the community better understand how the freeways work. I think this would be very beneficial to the community. Also and more importantly, SAVE LIVES.
