West Lane is a narrow lane from the S bends on the A3023 to the north which takes you through fields with a speed limit of 40 mph to a built up residential area at the southern end of the lane with a 30 mph speed limit. Vehicles regularly drive well over the speed limit along this narrow residential, southern end of the lane putting residents, some who are elderly and other road users at serious risk of injury or death. I would like to ask for support to have speed bumps installed along the stretch of road from  the 40 mph limit just before the entrance to Brights Lane to the end of the West Lane joining Newton Lane. This needs to happen before there is a fatality.
