LETS SAVE THE SKATEPARK!
Queen’s Park recreation skatepark was built in about 1997 and sadly has been falling into decay for years!!

The park also hosts the only outdoor Vert ramp in the whole of Scotland!? The place is used throughout the year by all ages, levels of skaters, roller skaters.. wee kids just having a play etc.. but it’s become a real hazard with the ramps and ground being covered in broken glass and in general just rough, grim terrain. It's now in desperate need of help! 

This is the only skatepark in the entire southside of Glasgow and to see it in such a bad state is really sad. This place could really be something incredible for the southside and a proper attraction for the whole skateboard community, along with other wheeled friends.
There's already soooo much talent in Glasgow alone and a safe new park, built with skater input would only generate more success and positivity! 

It’s such a fantastic open space with soooo much potential for the whole community so let’s get together and MAKE IT HAPPEN!! :)
