The city of las cruces was more than responsive about fixing the old skatepark. We had asked for a renovation or a new park while also talking about skatespots and the city decided they wanted to do all three.

December 2nd at 1:30 at las cruces city hall we will be having another meeting. This one is extremely important and we need as many heads as we can to be here. This meeting will help us get the skatpark renovations and new park set in a priority list to state legislative so that we can start securing funding. Currently the city will be looking to obtain 2 million for the new skatepark and 1 million to renovate the current skatepark. This meeting will very well decide the future of action sports in las cruces.

We are also asking EVERYONE to email our reps to help sway them to vote in the favor of the skatepark. They are already aware of the condition of the current park. No trash talk or negativity as that will just hurt us and our end goal. The city of Las Cruces has been one of the few to actively want to try and help change things for the better!
