Most Seniors are on a very tight budget. Seniors generally are a high priority when it comes to Preventative Medicine and organized exercise is very beneficial. From an economic point sick/infirm Seniors are costly to everyone.

LA Fitness, the health gym chain, at least the one in Frisco, Texas, at Hwy. 121 & Preston, does not have the SilverSneakers Fitness Program. Bally's used to have it but when LA Fitness bought them out LA Fitness dropped the Silver Sneakers Program. (I was so informed by a third party.) Many Seniors could be getting off their sofa, increasing their strength and stamina and be more inclined to socialize thereby increasing their overall health. This also has an additional side effect, that of relieving worry/pressure from the family care-givers.

SilverSneakers Health Insurance pays the monthly membership fee at the member Gym. LA Fitness has a great facility and staff. Please sign this petition to LA Fitness.  Send it to everyone you so chose.  Your interest in "Us" is so greatly appreciated.

There are over 2,200 participating fitness centers nationwide.  But there is not always one of these gyms within acceptable driving distance, especially for many Seniors.  LA Fitness with their many gyms having excellent equipment and helpful staff would be a great source of increased good health for all Humana medicare qualified people.
