City-Wide Community Meeting
November 1, 2018 7:00-9:00 pm
Queen Anne Community Center, Room 1
1901 1st Avenue West, 98119
We need to show QACC that they do not speak for 350k single family homeowners nor do they speak for all of Queen Anne (40% renters)
- Bring signs. Show up at 6:30 pm to connect with other supporters of cottage reform.
- Not sure how much we will get to read statements or give testimony... it might be a lot of listening to QACC's side... but it is good for them to see that they are not listening to everyone.
- Talking points from MOAR will be available at the meeting. Matt is preparing with assist from others.
- Pack food & drinks & charge your phones.
Tell stories, make it emotional and personal and relatable and authentic. Explain why you believe what you believe. Keep it positive. Emphasize why your shared values with the person you disagree with have led you to a different conclusion. Less is more. 200 words is good.
