Worcestershire Parkway Station is used by many for both commuter and leisure purposes. This station is used particularly by those who drive to and from the station. However, with only 483 parking spaces - a significantly low number compared to many stations of its size - passengers are finding it increasingly difficult to use this station.

This is why we must push for more parking to be built at Worcestershire Parkway Station. By adding more spaces, more people will be encouraged to use this fantastic station for their travelling needs. We want everyone to make the most of our wonderful railways, but in order to achieve this, we must make our stations accessible for all.

Dame Harriett Baldwin MP for West Worcestershire has been a strong advocate for this issue, continuously speaking up for the need to expand parking at Worcestershire Parkway saying "I can’t for the life of me understand why Worcestershire County Council and GWR would not want to move heaven and earth to expand this car park".  Dame Harriett has taken this further and discussed this issue in Parliament, quizzing the former Secretary of State on the matter in the House of Commons.

Nigel Huddleston MP for Droitwich and Evesham is also working hard to raise awareness for this issue. In a recent post, Nigel told the public that he had written to the Rail Minister to make the case for investment at Worcestershire Parkway. He expressed that  Worcestershire is a rural county and, for many people, driving to the station is the only practical way to access the rail network.

Dame Harriett Baldwin MP and Nigel Huddleston MP are constantly raising this issue for the people of Worcestershire to make Worcestershire Parkway an accessible travel option for all, but they need your help.
