An Important New Campaign

Dear Supporter,

Thank you for supporting our campaign opposing a taxpayer-funded statue of former Premier Daniel Andrews.

Together, more than 18,000 Australians signed the petition, sending a clear message that public monuments should be reserved for those whose actions unite communities rather than divide them.

Today, I'm asking for your support on a matter that is even more important.

For more than 13 years, serious questions have remained unanswered about the 2013 Blairgowrie collision involving Catherine and Daniel Andrews and 15-year-old cyclist Ryan Meuleman.

In that time, independent experts, former police, witnesses and investigators have raised concerns about how the incident was handled and why key evidence was never properly examined.

Most notably, respected road safety expert and former Assistant Commissioner Dr Raymond Shuey concluded that the matter warranted proper investigation and review.

Yet despite the passage of time and the emergence of new evidence, Victoria Police have never conducted a full investigation into the circumstances of the crash.

That is why we have launched a new petition calling on Chief Commissioner Mike Bush to re-open the Bike Boy investigation, review the evidence, and determine whether any criminal offences may have occurred.
